Blue Mountains Heritage Centre

Run by National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Heritage Centre at Govetts Leap in Blackheath is the perfect starting point for exploring the upper Blue Mountains. Interactive displays explain the region's World Heritage ecology, Aboriginal heritage, and geological history. Friendly staff provide expert walking track advice and conditions updates. The centre sits beside Govetts Leap lookout - arguably the most spectacular viewpoint in the entire Blue Mountains, with a 180-degree panorama of the Grose Valley and Bridal Veil Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in the region.
